What’s on your pedalboard

Just putting one together want to see what’s on yours

GEAR:
  • Gretsch G6659T Players Edition Broadkaster Jr.
  • Strymon TimeLine
  • Fender 65 Princeton Reverb Reissue

Recently reorganised mine: Digitech Grunge, Tone City Kaffir Lime, Tone City Golden Plexi, EHX Neo Clone, Vivlex Flanger, EHX Memory Boy, TC Electronics HoF2, Line6 DL4 and lastly Tone City Tiny Spring.

GEAR:
  • Line 6 DL4 Delay Modeler
  • TC Electronic Hall of Fame 2 Reverb
  • Blank slot

At the moment? No board right now. TC nova drive and/or an ep3 echoplex whenever I have it working right. It's a maintenance hassle but really an iconic sound even with the echo off

GEAR:
  • Roland Juno-6
  • Gibson SG Standard
  • Vox AC30 Guitar Combo Amp

I don't think you have enough stuff.

GEAR:
  • Roland Juno-6
  • Gibson SG Standard
  • Vox AC30 Guitar Combo Amp

You know, I've been thinking the same thing 😂 I've got a wah, compressor, loop and footswitch all off board atm cause I'm out of room, so it might be time to build board No.2

GEAR:
  • Line 6 DL4 Delay Modeler
  • TC Electronic Hall of Fame 2 Reverb
  • Blank slot

I don't have a strict order for my pedals, as I'm always changing it, but here goes: Marshall Jackhammer OD/distortion, Cuvave fuzz, Dunlop CryBaby, Behringer noise reducer, EHX Volume pedal, Zoom MS70-CDR multi-effect pedal. Also, not a pedal, but I use an Ebow (Joyo Infinite Sustainer) from time to time. But yeah, I try and keep it compact, these six pedals seem to be enough for now, as the Zoom covers all my modulation/delay/reverb needs

GEAR:
  • Jolana Iris
  • Jolana Vikomt Bass
  • Positive Grid Spark

Can you stack modulations/delays/reverb on the Zoom, or do you have to pick one effect at a time to use?

GEAR:
  • Line 6 DL4 Delay Modeler
  • TC Electronic Hall of Fame 2 Reverb
  • Blank slot

Yeah you can stack them! You can have up to 6 effects at a time officially, though some effects take up more memory of course (for example shimmer reverb takes up over 3 spaces, so you might be able to stack it with one or two other effects). Of course you can also save the effects you've stacked as presets, so you don't need to dial them in again, and best part is it's only a little over 100EUR, it's a steal at that price (especially as I was able to sell some other pedals to pay for it)!

Currently I'm running two boards....

My "Analog" Board is a SKB PS-45 powered pedalboard with - BOSS TU-2 Tuner - CreepingNet FazzFuzz Fuzz Pedal (home built) - CreepingNet SkullFuzz Fuzz Pedal (home built) - EHX Pitch Fork - Crybaby GCB95 Wah Wah - Behringer PH-9 Phaser - Digitech X-Series Flanger - EHX Small Clone reissue - BOSS DD-7 Digital Delay - Behringer (Plastic) Noise Gate

I use a mix of Radio Shack, Horizon, Home Built, and Monster Cable cables.

I'm also building a "Digital" board for Direct input, and possibly just moving to a digital solution for the halfstack using a Line6 HD500 currently. I was fairly well able to replicate everything above on that board the way I use it and then some so I might start using that instead. Postage Stamp sized stages are quite a reality for me these days.

GEAR:
  • Fender '62 Jaguar Reissue Electric Guitar
  • Hondo Paul Dean II
  • Fender Jaguar

You know, I've been thinking the same thing 😂 I've got a wah, compressor, loop and footswitch all off board atm cause I'm out of room, so it might be time to build board No.2

Either that or it's time to assess your minimum needs. I always found a few months hard gigging with a solid band lineup really helped me streamline... sometimes down to a tuner based on what was integral to putting on a good show while maintaining speedy setup and breakdown. What can people actually hear? What's too s8btle for a PA system?

My recording 'board' is anything and everything in my studio though. Which is racks of gear and drawers of pedals... and synthesizer external audio inputs. If I can get level matched for each input and keep the impedances in a reasonable range I'll try anything... if you can get me to pick up a guitar.

GEAR:
  • Roland Juno-6
  • Gibson SG Standard
  • Vox AC30 Guitar Combo Amp

This is my pedalboard - a volume pedal, a tuner pedal and an RJM MIDI controller to control my rack rig.

GEAR:
  • Ibanez RG652FX
  • Ibanez S521-MOL
  • Blank slot

It's cliche (for a reason), but pedals come and go from my collection and the two that never change are a TS9DX Tube Screamer and a TU-3. (But to be honest I think most modern tube amps sound fine without a boost.)

GEAR:
  • Orange Rockerverb 50 MkIII Amp Head
  • Keeley Moon Op Amp Fuzz
  • Gibson Les Paul Standard

my pedalboard is simplified to what i need for my 2 bands and my solo project. Currently: Line 6 Amplify FX100, CoolMusic Insane Distortion, Koogo Super Distortion, Mimidi The Noise, Joyo Dyna Compressor, and a Donner Harmonic Square. Soon, I'm adding a berringer equalizer pedal as well to complete my full board. The equalizer is gonna be used for lo-fi parts during songs. maybe more pedals in the near future but right now I'm happy with what i have.

GEAR:
  • Agile Pendulum Pro 72527 EB CA Blue Flame
  • DigiTech WH-4 Whammy (4th Gen)
  • Blank slot

never bothered getting an actual board, but the chain goes: proco rat, crybaby 535, boss tu2. as a further mention the crybaby 535 is some japanese exclusive thing its not the 535q, they actually sound pretty different the 535 has a bit more of a low end kinda sound to it

GEAR:
  • Sound City B120
  • Fernandes RB 80
  • Pro Co RAT 2

Rat INTO wah... my 90s preference. Now that's a setup. A little fuzz, a little warble and done.

GEAR:
  • Roland Juno-6
  • Gibson SG Standard
  • Vox AC30 Guitar Combo Amp

Unfortunately, I still don’t have a big pedalboard, but in my music school, I have a multi effect pedal connected to another multi effect processor. At home, the only pedal I have is a Behringer UP-300 Ultra Phaser pedal.

GEAR:
  • Blank
  • Boss BF-3 Flanger
  • Meteoro Demolidor FWB-20

I'm not being sarcastic. You gave plenty of fx.

GEAR:
  • Roland Juno-6
  • Gibson SG Standard
  • Vox AC30 Guitar Combo Amp
