bassist here, just curious and want to ask you guitarists, what do you think about rotosound strings. why are they not popular? we all know that rotosound is indeed the most legendary string for bass, but the charm of rotos strings seems weak (and arguably non-existent) when compared to d'addarios, ernieballs, elixirs or dr. and ghs. are there any specific personal reasons (feel, touch, tone, material, packaging etc.)? thanks in advance.
