Worth the money :)

One of the best affordable guitars out there! Beautiful tones for blues, rock, funk etc. Cheapest tele you can buy but worth every penny! Had one for a year but swapped for a strat for a change-up.

#1 Squier!

One of the few squiers that are Fender quality. They stopped producing these in the 90s due to the expense they were creating. Beautiful tones, lovely neck, awesome guitar \m/

So many options to choose from, forget pedals ;)

There's so many effects to choose from on this amp, and its loud enough to jam and gig with.. I love it!

Great guitar, Great tones, 10/10!

Had this guitar for a year now.. An amazing instrument which can achieve different tones (can be difficult to get some clean sounds on it) Most of the songs I play I can usually get an accurate sound for. I play a lot of the Chili Peppers and if you know john, you see him rarely with an SG so like said sometimes can be difficult.

dial your pickup heights more carefully and there is clean aplenty at least from the neck or both pickups blended creatively (work your volume controls on a Gibson)... the stock pickup is probably a 498T which is very hot for a vintage voiced humbucker with an alnico magnet, I ditched the one in my SG Standard right away in favor of an early 70s T-Top patent sticker humbucker with pretty low DCR specs but a lot of apparent power (must be a strong chunk of alnico 5 in this one).... a Duncan 59 will probably get you what you're looking for at the bridge or for the ebst of both worlds try putting a 59/Custom Hybrid in the bridge on a coil tap... also, if your guitar doesn't have 500K pots and 50s Gibson tone cap/pot wiring already get some pots and caps while you are changing the bridge pickup and wire her up right

Gibson can never make up their mind on wring schemes and pot vales anymore, changes all the time

also, Frusciante is a huge fan of the Yamaha SG popularized by Santana back even ebfore MY time (its kind've an LP/SG hybrid from the 70s, the alnico 5 humbuckers are pretty hot by RHCP standards)
