This machine is great if you're just getting into hardware samplers. The control interface is a little strange but you get used to it after a while. Try to get the upgraded or modded version because it adds more storage for sound and increases the load time for samples.

I started making music in Garageband so the move to logic was pretty seamless. Pros: Simple design, great built in VST's, and fast exporting speed. Cons: Anything that has to do with manipulating audio files, piano roll is weird, not the greatest plugins. Overall I enjoy using this program but I do plan on switching to Pro Tools or Ableton Live.

I love this controller. It has everything a musician could ask for. Fader panel, drum pads, and a great set of keys. The only downside is the position of the pitch and mod wheels. Great for live sets.

As someone who prefers in-ear vs on/over ear headphones these are amazing. They have a flat but not empty sound. The bass is just enough for listening to music but not too much for producing. Very clear mids and crisp highs. Does not distort even when I turn the volume to max and listen to Merzbow or other harsh noise music. These are also great for flying on a plane because the noise cancelling is second only to the Bose QCs.

This was my first major purchase and boy am I glad I got it. I bought it used from a guy on craigslist for $200. It has great eq, the knobs and faders feel smooth, and although not the easiest to use it's not difficult. I would recommend this for anyone who wants a physical mixer on a budget. The only complaint I have (and it may just be my unit) is that the gain is whack. It's so sensitive and is sometimes difficult to level tracks properly.

This laptop is my daily driver for music but it fucking sucks ass that there aren't any port on this shit. To use my usual setup I need 5 adapters or "dongles" to use it. USB C is super good but I'll take convenience over a lighter laptop. But this is an amazingly fast and responsive computer. The screen is bright and crispy af. I personally would go with the 2015 15" Macbook Pro because ports are very important when you produce on a laptop.

I bought this turntable because after watching a VinylEyezz. If you don't wanna dish out the money for a SL1200 this is a perfect alternative.
