very nice! @cobaltorder how is your Seaboard holding up? I had some concerns that the material covering the keys would start to break down from finger oils over time... but I know it's a great and expressive instrument... and now, sadly, a collector's item.
I've had no problems so far, but I do keep it in a case most of the time when it's not in use.
what keyboard stand is this?
Ultimate Support Apex AX48 Pro
@cobaltorder and if I am looking at this correctly it appears you have two additional V pronged stands than the two that come from the original purchase? Can the V be broadened and narrowed to accommodate a smaller and shorter unit and wider and longer unit?
Yes I added another set of arms to it. They’re fixed width, but since it’s V shaped you can somewhat adjust it by how far back or forward you put the gear. You can also put a small shelf on the arms.
@cobaltorder I realized the V not needing to be adjustable after I left my comment but the shelf thing had not occurred to me and could affordably and easily make for added stability. I take it since you haven't warned me away from them you rather like them. What are your thoughts on them versus something like the Z-shaped stands (i.e. https://www.roland.com/us/products/ks-10z/) and X-shaped stands? (i.e. https://www.guitarcenter.com/Quik-Lok/Double-Tier-Double-Braced-Keyboard-Stand-1353339745622.gc)?
I've had no issues with it, I like it. I have X and Z style stands too, and those can support more weight and are more stable, but they also take up more floor space. This one is stable enough though for what I have on it. I wouldn't put a heavy keyboard on the top 2 racks.
