5 of my 8 electrics from left to right- Fender telecaster modern thinline (sunburst) with p90s, Fender player telecaster (butterscotch), Fender player telecaster (black) with SD vintage stack, Solar A2.6 TBR, Chapman ML3 modern Ember... (I'm a Tele man lol). Fender player series II (player 2) HH (sunburst with black pickguard) not in pic.. missing in the pic also is: Cort G300 pro (vivid burgundy) and g290 fat2 (black and grey flamed maple) which are both sublime, but the g300 punches way above its weight!! But my fender player II HH is my no.1 guitar, it's phenomenal, and though it lacks the named pickups and SS frets on the g300 pro, it sounds and feels like an American telecaster but a little easier to intonate lol. Fender really outdone themselves, the pickups will never be replaced (ive read that they use the shawbucker 1 and 2 in the players and on this one they did the same but slightly overwound them for a hotter/chunkier sound. And even by making the neck and fretboard colour a very traditional darker creamy amber colour instead of the paler necks on the player 1's.. The g300 pro is a recording artists dream though as in the 2 and 4 positions it emulates the 2 and 4 positions of a strat by splitting the coils and leaving the appropriate ones on that a strat would.
