Oh! you have the Shapes too? Do those sound like a noticeable upgrade over the Alphas?
the Alphas for me are better. The Shapes have really focused bass and treble but lacks an overall balanced sound. I can't use them for over all mixing and mastering. But for surgical mixing I use them to "shape" EQ with narrow cuts if it is called for
