Is it time Fender brought back those thick county-fair-bumper-car-metal-flake paint jobs again? It's been at least 20 years since the last big revival... and no, the current $4k Dick Dale custom shop doesn't count. Put it on the cheap non-US guitars that people under 30 can afford.
Yeah! I have 2 silver sparkle Jagmasters, one I’ve converted to a 28-5/8” scale baritone. I’ve decided that for the foreseeable future, all of my new guitars will have bass-boat sparkle finishes. The one above is my most recent, but I also have a pink sparkle baritone Jazzmaster that I painted this summer. My next one will be purple, followed by a teal blue sparkle.
