|| I own the sister model of this device [M-Audio FastTrack] and it was a phenomenal addition to my home studio. The MobilePre is no different. I often record in stereo, so having dual XLR inputs with a volume knob dedicated for headphones makes the process work smoothly. Being able to independently mute both XLR inputs is a plus, because this allows me to set the appropriate mic volume, using the corresponding knob, while pressing the 'Ch.1 / Ch.2' mute buttons without reversing the initial volume knob position. [Great way to test the sound level for each input.] || While this device is no longer supported by M-Audio, If you run across this gem on Amazon, ebay or craiglist, I would adamantly urge you to purchase it. I believe that working with 'old tech' is the best way to learn how to maximize your abilities as an artist, because it forces you to learn every little aspect of the device - which drastically increases your skills with it.

|| I own the brother model of this device [M-Audio MobilePre] and it is my most trusted device of my home studio. However, I use this device exclusively with my my 'mobile studio' setup as it is so easy to simply plug in and start recording. I also use this device with M-Audio StudioPro 3 speakers, due to the FastTracks' RCA only inputs - which, in my opinion, is it's only limitation. Yet, this may be forgivable because if someone has a more expensive speaker setup they might also purchase a more sophisticated/expensive audio interface. || All in all, I love this device and I have no plans to replace it thus far. I'd recommend it to anyone!

|| I was pleasantly surprised at how powerful the audio output of these speakers were. I use it in conjunction with my M-Audio FastTrack and I have to be honest - these speakers knock! Granted, they are no where near the output of my home studio monitors, but when I'm recording away from home the StudioPro 3 really packs a solid punch. I always get positive responses from my clients at the clarity of the sound output. I would definitely recommend these speakers to gamers looking for a solid sound output for there gaming experience or home studio start ups.

|| When I first started learning about developing a home studio my biggest concern was finding a condenser microphone that was both affordable and efficient. Every critical review I read in music magazines and online about condenser mics all reference, if not partially, of the German designed Behringer B-1 Condenser Microphone as 'The only mic you'll ever need'! || That was 2005, fast forward more than 10 years later and Im still using this very same microphone and its just as functional as the day I bought it. || The Behringer Nekkst K5 monitors are the absolute best monitors I've ever owned! My mixing has gone from intermediate to professional because the K5's deliveries a flat sonic range that makes it easier to hear the subtle nuances of your mix. This is due to the presets behind each monitor that allow for 'room compensation' of the audio output. I've had client after client from amateur to pro listen to music via the Nekkst K5's and the response is the same, "WHOA!"

|| I was very interested in using this microphone exclusively for my mobile studio, but after a few recording sessions I noticed a terrible flaw in the design. There seems to be almost no 'mid range' sound being recorded using the C-3, it sounds as if someone turned up the 'lo range' creating a muffled sound recording. This is highly disappointing when Behringer has an earlier Condenser Microphone that may be one of the best microphones available [B-1]. I would definitely not recommend this device to any serious studio owner.

|| I use my iPad for virtually everything. For my home studio I use my iPad as a third monitor via the Duet app, which allows me to extend my workspace without sacrificing valuable real estate. Plus when I'm on the go I load my FL Studio app to create instrumentals and then I can transfer my data to my CPU and fully design the record in my DAW [Digital Audio Workstation]. If you can think of it... then there's an app for it.

|| I'm in love with this keyboard! The semi-weighted keys make playing any VST instrument a joy to experience. I've had this keyboard for 6 years now and its still as functional as the day I bought it. Mapping my faders and knobs to my FL Studio DAW [Digital Audio Workstation] is so easy as my software allows me to adjust the knobs movements by increments - for more precise automations. I'd recommend this keyboard to any producers looking to fully unleash the power of their Workstations!

|| Apple sure knows how to make a simple yet highly functional product, and the Apple Wireless Keyboard is no exception. I use the device primarily with my mobile studio, which allows me to position my laptop and second monitor behind the keyboard for a more comfortable wrist position. || HERE'S A TIP: Don't waste your money on disposable batteries, I purchased Sanyo Eneloop Rechargeable batteries. They are great! I'm literally still using the same batteries in the AWK I bought in 2009 - totally serious.

|| The Quirky Spacebar was a godsend! I often search online for creative hardware that is both carefully crafted and highly functionally, and this USB Hub gets it! It seems like every piece of equipment I buy in some way or another needs a USB power supply - the Spacebar packs 4 USB slots in the front and 2 USB Slots on the back. I'm covered!
