Personally recommended to me by Michael Brauer. Hearing things I've never heard before...

I took the MWTM MHB seminar in 2013. Michael Brauer suggested that I get these monitors. My first impression was that there was a lot of content I was not hearing before in the lo-mids and mids that these speakers brought forth. I would say they're the most honest speakers I've ever owned. After listening to a variety of sources through them, They'll let you know right away if you're in the ballpark, or not. Very effective at low listening levels. Take care when powering them off. It's best to do it from the speaker before turning off your interface.

Solid, well-traveling unit. Great compliment to the M12's for a complete system

They're sturdy, powerful and travel well. They fill out the room nicely and work well at a range of volumes.

They sound great and translate well in both indoor and outdoor venues.

I've used these for both indoor and outdoor gigs. They translate well in both environments and have a nice sweet spread. I get a lot of compliments on the sound of these speakers.

This allows me to use UAD Plug-Ins while mixing on the road, completely in the box, dangling-dongle-free

I've enjoyed using the UAD-2 Solo Laptop for years now, allowing me to mix anywhere with UAD plug-ins, without the need for any external hardware or dangling interfaces/dongles.

Quick, no moving parts, roadworthy.

They're built well, monitor looks great, they're fast and reliable performers. What I don't like is the inability to hot rod it with 3 TB of SSD like I did my 17". I also miss the Cardbus34 slot, which I used for my UAD-2 Solo card on the 17" - this allowed for complete mixing within the box.
