I bought this amp used from my local Long & McQuade (where I go for most of my gear), got it for a great price with the only wear being a slight circular mark on top from where I assume someone put a drink. (The store inspects & repairs any functional damage to their used gear before putting it on sale, so I don't know if that drink ever did any real damage.) It was my first tube amp, and plays real nice with any effects. Cleans are the best I've had to date, and when overdriven it sounds great by itself or with my preferred distortion, a zvex fuzz factory. For the price I got it at, it's incredible value, and more manageable volume-wise and portability-wise than an AC30.

The fuzz factory has the perfect wild, gritty sound I want in a fuzz pedal. It's extremely customizable, and makes some interesting squeals if you play around with the dials. Its wildness may also be a slight minus, since adjusting this thing live can be a pain if you don't have the exact setting you want memorized, or if you forget to turn down the volume before anything else (seriously, turn down the volume before tweaking). Other than that, I don't think I could be more satisfied. In summary: excellent crazy psychedelic grit & sound, not the pedal for you if you just want basic fuzz to plug & play without any knob tweaking.

I love this pedal, don't think I'll ever need another reverb for my pedalboard. Reverbs sound quite realistic, although when maxing out some dials they sound a bit less so. When used in front of drive, the spring reverb sounds explosive (especially if you're into Tame Impala). Love the mod reverb and halo as well for some ambient spacey sounds. Plate and room sound real nice, although I have yet to find a good use for the reverse reverb in my playing. Reverse might be a bit out there for some, but I just love this pedal. Artwork is cool, although some more legible labels on the dials could really help.

This was my first effects pedal of any kind, and has served me well. Love the delays and the modulation stuff, but I'm not too keen on the distortions and amps (still usable but I'd go for dedicated dirt pedals). Good if you're looking for loads of effects, and for the price I got it at you can't go wrong if you're new to effects. For the purists, I do notice a bit of signal degradation/tone sucking when compared to an effects-free chain or with my other effects, which makes me use this effects unit less than I used to. (Why spend money on a nice tube amp when your signal is getting degraded somewhere else?) EDIT: Forgot to add that I love the looper and tuner

Great choice if you want a no-frills power supply, with some pretty blue lights. However, I'm not so sure if the isolation on this thing is very good, or if it's even there at all. When I plug in my Zoom G3 with other pedals in the chain on the same power supply, I hear a noticeable ticking sound from the built-in metronome, and whining, which I think must be from a ground loop. The issue solves itself when I plug the G3 into a separate power supply, but that leads me to think that this thing is not isolated as advertised. (However, with all my other pedals, I've never had any issues.)
