The Glass Orchestra by UVI

Glass Orchestra's diverse and detailed recordings are presented in a powerful sound design environment. The Rubber Bridge Plucks Instrument Plug-In by Somerville Sounds.

A Rubber Bridge Acoustic Guitar with an Eraser muting the Strings

On a whim, spurred by a YouTube binge, Jon Meyer decided to transform a parlor acoustic guitar.

He replaced the bridge with rubber, strung it with flat wound strings, and added the cheapest electronics from Amazon.

And as if the guitar wasn’t dead enough, he wedged an eraser under the strings, further dampening its already muted tones.

The outcome? A plucky yet lifeless (in the best possible way) sound, more akin to a bass than a vibrant acoustic.

Drawing from the signal of the inexpensive pickup, Jon ran it through a pedal for a saturation and doubling effect.

Inside the plugin, tweaking the low pass filter and drive can render it cozy and warm, but push it to the extreme, and it’ll surely rattle the walls and wake the neighbors.

The GR-8 by Phuturetone is a very classic Synthesizer Plug-In.

It uses an 8-voice virtual analog engine and is somewhat reminiscent of the look of vintage Roland synths. You can play it in mono, unison with 8 voices, chord (4 stereo notes), or in poly with 8 voices. Additionally, you have voice effects such as glide, legato, voice detune, and more.

GR-8 has two analog-style oscillators. Oscillator 1 has tri, saw, pulse, and square, oscillator 2 sine, saw, pulse, and noise. Three different oscillator effects are available including cross mod (FM), pulse width modulation (PWM), and sync. The x-mod exudes some Roland vintage charm again.

Then, you get a resonant lowpass filter with three slops (12, 18, or 24dB/oct) and a non-resonant highpass filter. The modulations can be routed instantly in the respective section (osc, filter…). The synth is very hands-on and does not have a modulation matrix. This should allow you to build sounds quickly.

GR-8 is an 8 voices virtual analog synthesizer with built-in effects and an arpeggiator. Features:

Voice Modes: Mono, Unison (8 voices), Chord (4 stereo notes), Poly (8 voices).

Important: Parameter automation IDs are changed in version 1.2.0. That breaks automation compatibility with previous versions. If you open an old song that had automated (for instance) Filter Cutoff, that automation lane will now automate some other parameter i.e. Envelope Attack. The change is a fix for a mistake that I made by adding new controls in versions 1.1.0 and 1.1.1. Due to my inexperience with newer versions of the plugin development platform that I use, I didn’t know automation parameter IDs are automatically set in alphabetical order unless manually specified. My sincerest apologies to everyone whose work is affected by the change. On the brighter side, presets are not affected by this change, so your old presets will sound the same as before.

Caution: Each preset has its own MIDI assignment. If you make a MIDI assignment you need to save the preset. Otherwise, the MIDI assignment you’ve made will be lost as soon you change the preset. If you want to make your own presets with the same MIDI assignments, you can do it by assigning MIDI controls to the Initial preset, saving a copy of it, and using it as a template for your sounds.

The CN-220 by Altair Audio is an Dual-Stereo Compressor , Limiter and Noise Gate for Natural Compression

It features an impressive + 24 dBu (max) input/output level operation and extremely low output noise.

As an additional feature, the unit includes a band compressor mode with adjustable frequency to achieve a wide variety of effects (de-essing, vocal stopping, drum levelling, etc...). Electric bass guitar sounds, for example, become more natural as the harmonic contents are unaltered when "Slap Bass" playing.

The King Super 20 Silversonic Alto Saxophone by King Musical Instruments made in the USA.

This here is the Historical Version of the King Super 20 Silversonic Alto Saxophone played by jazz legend Julian “Cannonball” Adderley (1928-1975). Adderley was born in Tampa, Florida to a family of educators. Moving to New York City, Adderley performed often with his brother, Nat, a cornetist and trumpeter. In addition to his own records as a leader, Julian Adderley performed on one of the most iconic jazz albums of the 20th century, Miles Davis’ 1959 Kind of Blue. This saxophone was sold to the Los Angeles-based musician and teacher William (“Bill”) Green (1925-1996) by Olga James Adderley, who was married to Adderley from 1962 to 1975. Green later sold the instrument to James D. C. Barrall. The alto saxophone's unique features includes a silver bell and pearl side keys.
