The Healer by Healy Guitars is an almost Full Custom light-weight Off-Set Jazzmaster Style Guitar , Hand-Made and crafted in the USA. * Note: The Healer does stand for all Off-Set Guitars Build by Healy Custom Guitars.

The Healer is an offset style guitar designed in 2009. While it’s design fits within the framework of classic JM’s and their European and Japanese counterparts, the Healer’s overall size is a full inch shorter than the JM. This makes it lighter weight and much closer to the size of Strat’s and Tele’s. The Healer is very well balanced whether played sitting or standing. This model is a great platform for many options that can be customized to your specs, from neck shape and scale length, to pickups and wiring.

Set Neck Construction:

The set neck is our preferred method of construction for the Healer, offering great tonal transfer to the body using hot hide glue. We also offer a bolt-on version, which has virtually the same neck joint and is always fit by hand before and after finish to maintain as tight a joint as possible. The heel of both style necks is thicker to help prevent the inevitable “flip” in the upper frets after years of string tension.

Chambered Body:

Most instruments are chambered on each half of the body to achieve a lighter weight and more acoustically resonant instrument. There is a center block running the length of the body for stability, balance, and tone. The chambered instruments generally weigh between 6.5 – 7.5 lbs.

The Healr can look very different and can be customized like you want, custom Color, custom Materials, custom Hardware, custom Pick-Up System and Set-up, custom Inlays , custom Neck Shape , and so on ....
