LEVEL: Adjusts output signal

SENSITIVITY: Amount of compression being applied

FUZZ: Well, you know, level of distortion. Set low for boosting overdriven amps or dirt pedals and work your way up to see how far you can go.

LEVEL: As expected, controls the output volume. Plenty of volume on tap, even with the Fuzz knob set to minimum.

BASS: A pre gain control so more bass equals more fuzz. Play with it and you will find the perfect balance between tight/precise and bold/buzzy.

TREBLE: Rolls off highs post gain at variable frequencies.

BIAS TOGGLE: Selects one of three bias settings (individually set for each pedal):

UP: High headroom setting, least amount of fuzz and compression, tight and precise

MIDDLE: The almost too low bias – dirty, buzzy, can get into velcro fuzz territory…fun!

UP: Buffered mode. Don’t worry about the placement in your signal chain, just activate the HG’s special buffer and you’re set. Gives a little extra edge and presence in the mix compared to

The Bridge 4 Midi Foot Controller by Pirate MIDI is a 4-switch MIDI foot controller with RGB LEDs, an OLED screen, and a super tough aluminium enclosure.

The Bridge4 can send stacks of MIDI messages through different footswitch press types (Press, Hold, Double-Press etc.) with 100 different bank of switches to scroll through.

The Sapphire Bass Preamp, which is driven by +24V, uses a head amplifier system and has a much wider headroom than conventional pedal-type preamps.

It maintains clear dynamics without distortion even with active bass signals, which are becoming standard these days, and signals boosted in the previous stage.

The head amplifier circuit is optimized for the unique range of the bass instrument and the sound that bassists want, and achieves high sound quality by buffering losslessly over a wide range.

The head amplifier circuit uses carefully selected FETs. The FET amplification element is not as small or hi-fi as an IC chip, but it has the texture of a tube amplifier.

This allows you to bring amp-like musical elements to the sound while still having a wide range.

The output supports low impedance. Since it is possible to drive a power amplifier, it can also function as a high-quality head preamp by plugging it into the return terminal of a head amplifier.

The 3-band equalizer is set to the optimal point to accommodate various playing environments and styles. It is not an extremely effective type, but rather an equalizer that supports delicate sound creation.

However, it is complete enough to be completed with just one unit, and it is possible to pursue a satisfactory setting.

By increasing the gain, you can also get an amp-like drive sound. This is also not heavily processed, but rather distorts the original tone of the bass naturally.

The Analog Delay by LocoBox made in Japan in the 80ties.

The Analog Delay by LocoBox was also used by Tom Morello around 1993.

he AD-01 has a dark green finish and three controls, otherwise being similar to the Flanger.

Power requirement is again 9V, the circuit being based on a single delay line and being quiet enough to suggest some form of compansion in use.

The controls are Mix (between dry and echo), Delay (from 20-300mS) and Repeat (from 1 to feedback).

At very fast repeat speeds a nice metallic reverb is obtained.

While the slower echoes and feedback are also useful

Again the switch action is positive and the LED is clearly visible.
