The modular approach of this DAW works well with the way that I produce. I instantly clicked with the layout and workflow after trying their trial and then purchased the software. I've been using it for around two years now.
This was the first soft synth I began using. I feel as though I know this one the best and feel comfortable programming my own sounds on it.
I originally picked this one up to do strings and pads, as it excels in that. But once I began diving more under the hood, it is an extremely deep synth. The sound sources are fantastic, If I can envision a certain sound, I can more than likely find it in omnisphere. The amount of modulation and routings you can do in it gives even more possibilities. I feel like I learn something new each time I open it.
This is my first foray into the world of hardware synths. I've only had it for under a month now, but it is amazing. The downside that some people see is that the waveforms are limited, but that doesn't really matter since it is based off a Juno 106 which had a limited number of waveforms. I'm able to create awesome bass sounds and a bevy of retro sounds for my synthwave productions. I also wanted to see just what I could produce with it and after awhile created a psytrance track entierly with deepmind sounds. I am still very green on learning to program this synth, but am looking forward to the journey.
These are my first set of studio headphones and I was amazed at the difference from the other headphones I was using before. These sounded more wide and crisp. The bass is slightly boosted on it, but thats why I use Sonarworks. They are very comfortable, I could easily wear them for hours at a time.
