This synth seems to do it all. Rich textured multiband, fat monosynths, delicate sounds with nuanced fx - plus it's got a sequencer built in. Loads of fun, and always more to do/learn with this thing. Oh, and it's beautiful.

A great starter piece for anyone looking to get into using talk-boxes. It does a good job amplifying the input audio in a way that travels down the length of the PVC tube and into the user's mouth for oral modulation. However, to get the audio down the tube the device relies on a lot of amplification and gain that tend to distort the original audio. For hard mono-synths this works fine, but for more nuanced sounds the amplification process loses a lot of the subtlety. Unfortunately the gain knob punches very hard, making it almost impossible to retain quality audio without keeping volume at very low levels - which can be problematic for recording.

I use this guy in the field, in the studio, and everywhere else. It seems to do it all, and the battery lasts forever. Bought one years ago and have never had a problem.
