This was my very first overdrive pedal, and it's been clear from day 1 why this pedal has stood the test of time. It can do creamy, crunchy and everything in between. Really easy to get a good bluesy sound out of and gives a great extra punch.
The variety of delays on offer is unbelievable. When I bought it, I initially thought that I would end up keeping it at the 2290 setting, but after a few days of playing, I found that every setting was extremely usable and sounded great. Even with the delay turned down, the pedal added just a bit more saturation to the overdriven sounds, giving it a lovely little boost and smoothness. All of this, plus the built-in looper and the fully customisable TonePrint setting, comes together to creat a fantastic pedal.
I like to play slide with my pinky, but it can be tricky to find a slide small enough for my pencil-fingers that it won't come flying off when I get excited. This is as close to a perfect fit as I've ever come across and the groove carved into the side also really helps to keep a grip on the slide when playing. It feels great; it sounds great - it's awesome!
