Hey. Just so I dont need to start another thread, I just thought Id ask here. Ive been on here quite a few years and am always adding gear, and editing details of gear thats wrong or incorrect.

Anyway, past 6 month, or so, Ive had things like adding gear to the database, and my own page "Not" work, but I think that got fixed for the most part, however, the one on going issue Im noticing is that, if I add gear to the database, it will let me add detail/description like always, but theres a lot of gear that Ive been wanting to update/revise the description/details on, but on pretty much every instance, even something I previously personally added to the database, it wont let me edit the details. Im aware of the edit button, and its still there, but now it always just says, you "cannot" make edits.

Besides making edits where I see details/descriptions are missin/wrong etc, there is another thing regarding descriptions Id like to bring up, but for now, Im mainly just curious why I basically cant make edits on anything at all it seems. After I click edit, it just always says something like, "You are not allowed to make edits, or whatever it says, but bottom line is, it seems like its only started doing that sometime in the last 4-6 months or so. I havent tried on my computer, just phone; but yeah curious if someone could look into that?

Yeah, no worries at all!

Like I say, editing is not usually an issue, and this is just one of a few times Ive noticed its just the description Im locked out from editing, but doesnt seem to happen to often. Id be curious to know some possible reasons it can happen, but if not its no worries!

Yeah, even if someone else could update it, that would be awesome.

As of now, just to clarify, the name of the submission is correct (Mesa 3Ch Dual Rectifier Solo (Non Multi Watt) Also, the picture is accurate, though I might try find a bigger/better pic so its more clear what model it is. Either way, it's just the main description that needs editing from the 3CH Multi Watt to the 3 Ch ***Non Multi Watt.

A lot of the details would be similar of course, as they are just different versions of the same amp, but yeah. If anyone needs input let me know. The Non Multi Watt ran from 2000 to 2009, and then was discontinued after the Multi Watt version came out in 2010 also, but theres already a seperate submission for the Multi Watt.

Also, whoever updated it also put in some other weird stuff, which is accurate to some extent, but also has some vague things, and inacuraies, mainly the FAQ's section was just pulled from some random place, and isnt needed IMO, and the product specs is okay, but a little vague etc.

Ive been on here many years, and have submitted many items to the data base, and Ive also revised, and added item descriptions, and details that were innacurate etc, whether they were my entries, or someone elses. Never really had an issue.

However, and I'll try keep this to the point, but basically, an item I originally made the submission for got changed by somebody, and not only was it innacurate in, and of itself, but it was changed to a product that was not correct, and to one that already existed in the database.

The problem though is, even though I was able to change the name of it back to the original/correct item, it wont let me change the description. It just says " Not allowed to edit Item Description", but it lets me edit/add everything/anything else.

Like I say, usually I can Edit/Update Descriptions for any items, whether they were my submissions, or not, but for some reason Im locked out from editing the description of this one.

Anyone know why that might be the case?

Hey, so Ive had a profile on Equipboard for years now, and know how to add gear to my personal collection, and to the data base, but for the past couple months, or so, I havent been able to add any new gear to my personal collection, because after I prompt "Add gear" the issue Im having is that nothing comes up to be able to select.

For example, say I want to add a parricular Marshall JCM 800, normally when you type Marshall, amps start to come up, and as you type more info, so like JCM 800 for example, all the different JCM800's that are in thr data base will start to appear, and then you obv select the particular item you are wanting to add, but no matter what I write, or type, nothing comes up to be able to add.

To clarify, Im not talking about adding a piece of gear to the data base, or a special/discontinued piece of gear etc, that all works just fine, and I added something to the data base the other day. Im just talking about in my personal profile, and adding gear to my personal gear list. Ive added lots of gear in the past just fine, but now, for quite awhile, the issue is just after I go "Add gear to list" when you start typing a brand, or item etc, nothing comes up to even be able to select.

Anyone else having this issue? Or, anyone else adding gear to thier own gear list just fine still? Trying to figure out if its everyone, or just something to do with my phone etc? Its worked just fine on my phone before, and its up to date OS wise, so I dunno.

I apologize if there’s a thread already, but does anyone know why none of the reverb links I try to use work in order to add gear. They always just say, not formatted right.

Reverb links aren’t working for me either! I’ve done it many times, last one maybe a week or so ago, then all of a sudden over this last week it’s not letting me add or verify any Reverb links. I’ve tried numerous different ones. Just a heads up.

Mods, can you please add this Trident A-Range 500 Series EQ? I tried and even though the link is proper , it just thinks it’s the Trident A-Range Console, and says It’s already added.
