Fantastic instrument
The first time I saw a Brian Setzer signature model, it was the one on the back cover of the first BSO cd back in 1996. I have wanted a blue version of his instrument since. The Hot Rod isn't exactly the same (no dice knobs, etc.), but that's ok, because it still has a maple top, and plays as good as my Player's Edition Tennessee Rose

One of a kind
Built by master luthier John Kinnard, in the San Diego area of California. A 14-fret grand bouche model. Also a shorter scale length than most gj guitars. Mine has a walnut back and sides

The most comfortable gypsy jazz guitar on the market
Gitane make many great models of gypsy jazz guitars. The DG-310 is a little unique in that the neck is slimmer and has a 'C' shape profile to it. Very modern for theses type of instruments. Sounds very good for the price range, and the lapiz lazuli accents on the rosette and fretboard are a nice touch

My favorite Ibanez, by far
Although I have owned various Ibanez models, including the JS100, the JS1000, RG550, and even a jazzbox (AF155), this instrument is unique. Crafted with perfection (the detail is impeccable) and a joy to play. Stays in tune even with aggressive use of the bar. The pickups ring clear, and I have been able to get good tones for both traditional jazz styles as well as modern hard tones. The hardshell case is even impressive. By the way, although the body is thin, there is some weight to it. The instrument is still made from a solid piece of mahogany with a flame maple top. This is also how, fundamentally, the instrument carries it's own great tone

Wow. Juicy tone on both clean and overdrive channels
If it had a line out, it would have everything I need. Despite that, I'm still very happy with it

Mine is called the Strat Plus from 1993. A different model than current catalog instrument.

Custom Build
I made it with a piece of poplar, two pieces on maple, and a box of generic electronics. Painted Surf (mint) Green and the name is laser printed on the headstock.
