I was finally able to achieve the metal, chugging tone I was looking for- more treble but not tinny. Like the pre installed amp types you can choose from and mix with different OD tones. Built in noise suppressor too. Only issue is it sometimes glitches; may get a noisy background hum which cannot be eliminated and then all of a sudden after several resets it's gone. Have had to do a factory reset three times as of yet. Overall, very pleased with the tones which outweighs the glitches.

Have had this one since 1998 when I bought it new; love the Laney tone
