A famous Brazilian producer, said in an interview that subs are very deceptive, because that sound will never be heard that way in a headphone of a person who is listening to the music on spotify. So, that's what you said, there is no point in having the equipment if you dont know how to use it according to your needs. Russ (rapper), produces his own sounds, and always emphasizes that the most important thing is that the music is good, there is no point in having thousands of equipments if you dont know how to use them. He took the equipment with him on the road during his tours and has already made several multi-platinum hits in hotel rooms (obviously untreated) using only macbook pro, tlm 103, ua apollo duo and a ath m50x. So there is no point in having the best monitors on the market, if you dont have the experience to get the best out of them.

Up!! Frequency response graphics are undoubtedly a great parameter for choosing the right equipment.

Yes! Here in Brazil I always see V8s in the studios, the producers tend to use them a lot here. Maybe they are the best monitors from KRK, but I'm still going with Adams

Totally. But most people still opt for HS and Rokits, so it would be nice if there was this debate here. Personally, I'm much more of an Adams T7Vs fan and I like NS10s too, but everyone has their own musical preference. And also remembering that if there is no treatment in your studio, the monitors will not be used correctly..

Great idea! This will open up a huge range of options for those who are choosing equipment to buy. It will also be great because the community will be able to opine on various polemic alternatives, such as Yamaha X KRK, and others. Hype!

Brazilian Artists in Equipboard
I understand your situation. You don't even have to learn another language, what I proposed was exactly that, when adding Brazilian artists or gear for them, writing in English and Portuguese, so everyone can help to make reviews. If you want, take a look at the artist Matuê, I put everything in English and Portuguese for him.

Brazilian Artists in Equipboard
I am presenting Equipboard to several people in Brazil, and a community is starting to form here. So I would like to know if, when I am going to put the details of an equipment of a Brazilian artist, I could put it in Portuguese and English. Like this: “(English) In the left corner of your desk, we can see a KRK RP7 Rokit 7 G4. / (Portuguese) No canto esquerdo de sua mesa, podemos ver um KRK RP7 Rokit 7 G4.”

Dont worry, I was just testing the tool. It is very useful for people who know little about equipment

Exactly, I put “Studio Monitors” on Gear Recommendation. Suggestion: when people select “Studio Monitors” in Gear Recommendation, a message could appear “The studio monitor you need depends a lot on the treatment of your room” or something like that

I went to use the "Gear Recommender", but it doesn't work at all. Every time I tried it came up "Uh-oh! We're unable to come up with recommendations for Studio Monitors based on the 2 artists you chose. Try a different gear category, choose more artists, or help us fill out more artist Equipboards.*"
