On Jeff's website, he was selling one of his personal guitars. My credit card didn't have a high enough limit, so I came up with a plan. ANNIHILATOR was starting their cross Canada tour in Victoria BC, and I had tickets. I went to the venue around noon on the day of the concert, but the front doors were locked. So...I went around to the alley, and I could hear them doing soundcheck before I even got to the back door. I walked right in, and security came and asked me how they could help. I told them I wanted to buy a guitar off Jeff, and was hoping he would take a personal check? 10 minutes later, Jeff and I are standing in the back alley having a smoke, and I asked him if he would sell me his personal touring guitar, and would he take a personal cheque for it? Yes, and yes. Right fuckin on! After the cheque cleared, he sent me the guitar, along with a bunch of swag, a T-shirt, picks, cd's, posters, stickers, and certificate of authenticity, all signed. (now I got like a little Jeff Waters shrine happening) Plus, I've got the cancelled cheque with his signature on it. I've always been skeptical of Epiphone, but this is not a cheap foreign guitar, or at least it doesn't act like one. Intonation is spot on, tunes easy, great sustain, holds a tune, and feels great! THANKS JEFF!

When My Grandmother passed away, she left some money for all us grandkids. I used mine to buy this Jackson, because I knew I would always have it, and I do think of her quite often when I pick it up. It is a great guitar, and the Floyd rose stays in tune.

After being so unbelievably fortunate, meeting Jeff, and him selling me one of his signature guitars, I really lucked out when he sold me guitar #3! We email back and forth from time to time, and, after seeing him on youtube, playing an "Annihilator II with a Floyd Rose FRX, I asked him if he would happen to have one of them for sale. He said that there were only 2 in existence, and one had been damaged in Europe on tour. He offered to sell me that one, and said he would contact Floyd Rose and have the part sent to me. He told me how much he wanted for it, and I said I would need a couple weeks to get the money gathered up, He said he was moving to the UK that week, so he was going to Fedex me the guitar the very next day, and that he would "trust me" to send the cash. (I did) I was in Vancouver, meeting Aaron Homma, picking up a guitar I purchased from him, and when I got home, there was the guitar from Jeff. A couple weeks later I get a package addressed to "Jeff Waters, Annihilator," and my name and address. Floyd didn't send the part that was broken. He sent a complete FRX unit. And....this guitar is slick. UNfuckingbelievable. Thanks Jeff. Thanks Floyd.

So....if you think I have a little ANNIHILATOR shrine in my basement....I guess that wouldn't be far off. Because I bought a couple guitars from Jeff Waters, I became connected with his second in command, Aaron Homma. Anyone who knows Jeff, or even just his music, must know how good you must be, to play alongside Jeff. Aaron is all this. Anyhow, one day, Aaron posts on Facebook that he is selling one of the guitars that Phil Bond made just for him. They called it a "Tux Deluxe" #1, and #2, since he made a white one and a black one. I contacted Aaron, and when he told me how much he was trying to get for it, I made him an offer. He accepted payments, and over the course of 4 months I paid for it. Aaron brought it with him to the Vancouver Guitar show, where he was displaying his white one, with other guitars Phil had crafted. I drove into Vancouver, and Aaron, Phil, and myself took in the guitar show, some fine dining, and local craft beers. I never laid a hand on the guitar til I got home. Jeffs guitars changed my playing. Aaron's guitar had the same effect. It was a learning g experience, as it plays entirely different than the Epiphones. Truly a precision instrument, and finely crafted. Aaron got ahold of me last fall, and I am 2/3 of the way towards purchasing his white one, while Phil builds him new ones. Thanks Aaron. I bought this to replace the one that Ray and his buddy stole from my trailer at Stave Lake, BC

I don't play it a lot, with all the pointy guitars I have around. It plays not too bad.

this thing will rattle the china in my girlfriends cupboard, 2 floors up, and the other end of the house. It really cooks.
