digital replication
This one is not a one trick pony. it's versatile and can replicate all of the sounds it promotes really well. There is a slight difference in authenticity in sound when comparing like for like to analog pedals of the same nature however to me when I use this in my band at full noise the debate between digital and analog quickly disappears . I use this because of the midi functions paired with a GigRig g2 and has kicked 4 pedals off my pedalboard. A brilliant space saver with studio quality effects.

Warm - Liquid - Robotic - Alien
Everything from warm lush flange chorus to robotic filter matrix to oscillating ufo sounds. The Cobain sound is there but it's not a sound I use often. it's quiet easy to dial trippy unique sounds out of this thing leaving a sonic fingerprint on any music you play. Love this pedal and regulary use it in my rig. The only downside for me is it can take up valuable space if you like to squeeze a heap of pedals on your board.

Lifts the veil from the speakers and reveals my tone
I use this pedal usually as my main overdrive. it really brings out the amps true colour without diluting the amps tone. Very clear and distinct and allows all of the chords to breath without sounding too muffled. The Klon KTR may not be for everybody but it really works for my sound and its always best to hear these stomp boxes in the flesh to best hear the character. I set the overdrive at 1 o'clock , tone at 11 and the volume depending on the gig.
