Disappointed
I had high hopes. This was going to be the one I had been looking for.
I loved the idea that it had an expression pedal jack and that I could go from a room to a hall to a cloud with the tilt of my foot. Unfortunately, there are loud record scratch artifacts when you go from room to hall and from hall to Cloud.
The Cloud reverb isn't the Strymon Bigsky Cloud Reverb.
The synthesized strings effect that the entire pedal is built around is garbage.

Fantastic!
I got this because I like anyone looking at this love Slash's tone and I needed a smaller amp that I could take places.
This badass little combo delivers huge all tube crunch that is warm and meaty, bright and throaty all at the same time.
As you would expect the 1 watt setting doesn't sound quite as good as the 5 watt setting. The 5 watts setting is much louder than expected.
My only complaint is that it doesn't have an effects loop.

I should have done this a long time ago.
I had no idea how extreme of a difference this speaker would make.
Works perfectly in my 100 watt Fender Pro Twin Amp and gives it a more Dumble-like tone.
I run a Kingsley Juggler V3 through the effects loop to complete my poor man's Dumble. Its a slam dunk.

Fantastic Amp
This amp is fantastic as a pedal platform Loud and clear with a professional effects loop.

Fantastic preamp pedal.
Fantastic preamp pedal especially for the money. You have more amps to choose from than the Iridium or ACS1 without getting overwhelmed with choices like you can with the line 6.
It is very nice that you can save your settings. It always stinks when your pedal knobs get bumped.
Changes I would like to see on a Version 2:
Inwould prefer having the input & output Jack's moved from the sides and put on the top. Because it would make it easier to add onto compact pedalboards. If I take it off my pedalboard this will be the only reason why.
It would also be rad it it had a second foot switch to cycle through the amps and not need to use your finger.

This is NOT the infamous "Evil Twin"
I have never understood why this amp is so very under-rated!
I think people mistake this with the Evil Twin Amp that came out in 1994. This amp came out in 2001. The two inputs on the evil twin is a dead give away. This amp also has a tremolo.
It's a fantastic amp. I have bought mine new when they first came out and I have never had a single problem with it.
Two channels complete with tons of tone shaping options. - Great bluse-rock overdrive tone and loud and clean clean channel.
- Gorgeous spring reverb footswitchable
- Tremolo footswitchable
- Professional foot switchable effects loop.
- Fantastic pedal amp.
- Loud and clean with huge headroom.
- 25w/100w switch power selector switch.
Update: I swapped out the stock speakers to EVM 12L Black labels. O sweet Jesus thank you! If you want that loud and clear Dumble sound on a budget this is the ticket.

I like reviews with lists, and I like reviews for products that aren't already outrageously popular. So I'm loving this write-up. Thanks :)
