Classic Boss

There are so many full-featured digital delays to choose from at this point. I went with the DD-500 because of the classic Boss/Roland delays it emulates, which are among my favorite--not to mention, huge fan of Lindsey Buckingham's soaring, long, Boss Digi-Delay tones. This pedal nails it, along with other fun delays that would take some clever routing/effect looping to pull off otherwise. Won't be trading it in for a long time.

Workhorse

4 stars for the clean channel voicing, which I abhor. 5 stars because of the gain channels' voicings. Ch. 1 crunch is absolutely unbelievable, and probably my favorite crunch tone on any of my amps. It's not for everyone, but it's been a crucial part of my tone for almost 15 years.

Fantastic

I have the 1967 mini fridge lookin' version with a SS rectifier. Loud, rocking. Gives you a beautiful edge-of-breakup tone. Dirt simple. One of my favorite pieces of gear.

the tube rectified version that came before yours definitely breaks up more but tis not as loud as yours and a lot of guys feel its too spongey and prefer the version you have

One of a Kind

Made by Philip Dotson, one of just a few guitars he completed before leaving (for now) the luthier world. S-1 switching system. Re-wired in 2017 with Duncan vintage stacks in all positions.

Perfect

All channels are voiced beautifully, impeccable compression and feel. When I got it, the tubes had been replaced with the "Personal Fave" option from JJ, which includes 6V6S and KT77 power tubes, GZ 34 rectifier tubes, and new preamp tubes. I kept this, and I couldn't be happier--it runs at about 40-50 watts and sounds great no matter the volume. But goddamn is it heavy!

Old, worn, and beautiful.

Got this for my 14th birthday, and it's been dropped, I've fallen on top of it, and played it until the finish on the back of the neck is worn off. It still grooves, plays perfectly, and has plenty of life in the frets. My old buddy, with Wolfetone Legends replacing the original pickups.

Was a lucky kid, with hard working parents and Grandparents. The pros of being an only child who only wants one thing for Christmas/Birthday! Changed my life. I will be gratefully indebted to them forever.
