Great tone, good update of the Jazzmaster to more modern spec, does not replace a vintage, but still a very usable instrument.
Always wanted a semi hollow and this one is amazing. Alder body (i cant believe the top is hand carved at this price) great sounding pickups and super nice action. I love this guitar.
You get all the f twin volume, clean, and break up with the Ampeg reverb which is singular, sparkly and dark.
This guitar is mahogany body, maple top, maple neck with an ebony fretboard. This has a magical tone, not to bright, not to dark and the mids are excellent. She just sings.
I mostly use this for Drop C tuning with heavy effects. The maple neck makes it pop.
