We can’t remember what life was like before this compressor, and we don’t want to. The modern, glossy, sound that cleans up unfocused or otherwise embarrassing tracks has now been transmogrified into a plugin, infused with the Purafied workflow that gets your mixes out the door. A holy marriage of auto gain, three variable saturation modes, and straightforward controls make this a no-brainer insert to tighten up any track or bus. Despite how it may appear, this is a custom multi-step signal chain built around producer Sam Pura’s favorite VCA compressors, including their iconic LED gain reduction meters which lend the plugin its name. It’s anything but a simple model emulation you can find elsewhere. Forged over a decade into an “always in” channel and bus compressor, this performance enhancing plugin is impossible to quit.

The SLP 538 EQ is your new channel EQ if you like to actually finish mixes. We started with producer Sam Pura’s favorite, criminally underappreciated, streamlined variant of the best sounding console EQ. Then we genetically spliced it with the sought-after stepped-knob workflow of its direct competitor, delivering the best of all hardware tone shapers in one impossible plugin. To make this the last EQ you’ll ever need, it also has auto gain to stop volume creep, built-in filters, phase inversion, and our obligatory THD knob. It sounds good on practically everything. Our mission is to make every EQ move effective and obvious by cutting out variables, giving you a sound you love as fast as possible. Forget staring at squiggly yellow lines for hours; it’s time to stop letting your eyes dictate your sound.

To celebrate the release of the best sounding record ever, we are unleashing two of the blood-soaked guitar tones used on SpiritWorld’s DEATHWESTERN. Each tone is modeled on a configuration of producer Sam Pura's iconic guitar amp chain; switch it to “53” if you want ridiculous gain and a deadly low end, or flick it to “50” if you need punishing midrange definition. When you’re ready, use them in tandem to discover why these amps go together like whiskey and a gunfight.

We also threw in optional cabinet simulation, a boost pedal, gate, and your guitar's volume knob, just for the hell of it. Our only condition on use is to not be held liable for demons summoned by players that can't help but increase the volume of their guitars to satanic levels. But if you're gonna do it, wear a Stetson Stallion Silver Belly (not included) while you're doing it.

An answer to the question: How big can it get?

Liquid Death worked with SJC Drums to manifest pure aggression into a snare… then (foolishly) sent one to producer Sam Pura. Known for already having some of the most colossal snare sounds, Sam then recorded over 500 samples and brought into existence the heaviest snare plugin ever released. Never again will producers wonder how they can make their drums hit harder; in fact, we put volume faders on each microphone just in case you get intimidated by the samples. Crow’s Nest is a three-in-one pedal consisting of fuzz, octave and boost circuits. All circuits can be used together or independently, with different combinations creating a vast palette of different sounds.

The fuzz is our Beacon vintage sound one-knob fuzz that reacts to your guitar’s volume. Circuit uses NOS (new old stock) -transistors.

The octave is also a vintage inspired circuit which uses an audio transformer to create the upper octave -effect. Best when played on a neck pickup with your guitar’s tone turned down. The toggle switch changes clipping diodes which changes the octave’s harmonic output and dynamics.

The boost is a multi purpose shaping tool for your tone. Can be used as a buffer, a mid boost to tighten up the sound of your amplifier, as a solo-boost cutting through the mix with volume and frequency or as a sculpting tool to shape the sound of an amplifier.

The Crow’s Nest is designed to be used first in the signal chain, but feel free to experiment with different positions.

Beacon is a vintage sound silicon-fuzz with NOS (new old stock) -transistors. Powerful but flexible circuit produces sounds from pushed crunch tones to all out wild fuzz. More than enough volume on tap if you want to push your amp to heavy distortion and beyond.

By rolling down your guitar’s volume you get additional control. Doesn’t clean up as you might expect but offers a good crunch tone.

We added a Fuzz-control to offer you even more sonic possibilities. This controls the amount of level going into the circuit. Max out to get the full attack of the two transistors or back down for cleanish tones.
