Our PAC overdrive system (Progressive Asymmetric Clipping) stretches transition from clean to overdrive — producing sweeter, more expressive tone colours. This caters for a wide spectrum of playing styles such as blues, country, rock, slide, crunch or jazz. After all, not everyone wants "flat out" distortion, a fact so often forgotten by amp designers. However, when heavy distortion is desired, PAC has more surprises in store. It has the ability to side step the low frequency "breakup" and high frequency "fizz" that ruins the sound of many amps. If that's not enough, PAC actually enhances the generation of profilic "harmonic squeal". All this, backed by the powerful 3 band EQ, brings back simplicity to electric guitar sound making.
