I have the 1997 Affinity with 22 frets. It's a really great guitar for begginers and intermediate players with a lot of tones.
Good clean sounds, pretty mediocre gain and distortion.
The bulit-in mics are decent, but as the tracks sometimes seem a little too quiet the thing to do is to enhance the volume in the mix.
The main guitar I use. It's no Martin, nor Gibson, nor even Epiphone, but it gets the job done, even for the ridiculous price it's sold for. You gotta use what you have.
Alright, a little less treble than the standard Jazz XL I'm used to.
