I just purchased this pedal as I am finally taking time to put together my "one girl" act. I play fiddle, guitar, and sing. Hoping to do a lot with this pedal :)

This is my first pick-up for my fiddle. I went back and forth between purchasing an acoustic/electric fiddle or just purchasing a pick-up. I ended up subscribing to the pickup test http://thepickuptest.com and did a lot of research before purchasing this pick-up. I purchased it off of my fiddle teacher. She prefers to play gigs with just a microphone. If you are looking for the "true" bluegrass sound playing directly into a mic is the way to go. I still wanted a pickup to experiment with looping, recording, and playing in loud environments. Overall, I am very happy with the quality and Darol Anger (fiddle professor at Berklee School of Music) also recommended it on artistworks.com. Lindsey Stirling uses this pick-up too so it must be good!

I purchased this for vocals primarily. This is a solid microphone.
