These are great for a home studio... while they don't have the visual appeal of KRK Rockits, these things pack a hell of a punch and you will NOT be disappointed with their response!
This synth was really great when it came out, but I find myself unable to come up with sounds that aren't recognizable as a massive patch.
I like some of the sounds in here, but I don't really like the interface at all... I use it when i need a certain sound i know it does well, like sync sounds for those moving trance progressions and such.
This plugin is simply great. It far exceeds most other softsynths in that it can actually nearly accurately reproduce a lot of the analog and virtual-analog hardware sounds almost indistringuishably... plus it allows you modulate pretty much parameter you want, so that's always a plus!
This is an over-used piece of software, but it has its place... Cheesy happy hardcore leads are no problem! simple off-basses? easy! Quick pads or leads for ideas? sure! Just be sure to do -something- to it... or these sounds will be picked up easily by anyone who uses it :P~
While it might not have the superior reputation of Pro Tools and Ableton... It definitely suits my needs, and exceeds them. This program has yet to fail me.
Great for the price of 50 dollars at bestbuy, but Nowhere near studio-level quality... It's pickup pattern is supposedly hypercardioid, but there's a lot of bleed through from the rear and sides that fall outside my level of what I would call a "hypercardioid" pickup pattern
I use this for live DJ Sets as well as recording vocal through its dual XLR inputs. This controller / mixer is great for either the digital DJ OR the conventional vinyl buffs, since it is a hybrid MIDI / Analog (midilog!) controller / mixer. well worth the mid-level pricetag, I'd recommend this to anyone.
This synthesizer is really good for basses and monophonic weirdness, and some level of pads. Great as an audio interface as well... however it only has 12 voices and cannot produce high quality supersaw-like sounds.
