Poor Build Quality
The amount of filters this thing offers is incredible but it doesn't have the build quality to be in the portable class. It'll fit into your pocket but can't handle normal wear and tear. I fumbled it while putting it on the table and broke the power button (plastic), fixed it, and then out of the blue the touch pad stopped working. I still have a GBA that I bought in the late 90s thats been through more at a comparable price. The broken power button was on me but the touch pad not working randomly is ridiculous.
Not Perfect
5 stars for not being perfectly programed, and giving different results every time the pattern repeats. The bass finds different ways to scream and because of this to me it is always entertaining. Plus, for some reason, being able to play ripping saw wave to the point that it shuts down is rewarding. Its almost like theres too much power in this little guy.
No CV Trigger In
The sound and different modes are nice, the synthesizer has a good soft 8-Bit sound which can get softer with the LP filter. No CV out for trigger is a bummer, but modulating the tone enough is an easy work around. I personally like using a MG as a trigger for organic bpms but would rather use my Mini MS 20 for the master not Mr. Rucci's synth. Excellent costumer service/communication with him and he's a true talent when it comes to making this stuff.
