From ebay Project to Grestch like useability.

Got mine off of ebay, it was all there except for the bridge, the wood was good but all the glue was rotten, I took it apart, sanded it good, and glued it all back together, later added a modern tailpiece, tuners and wired up a single P-90 Dog Ear Pickup with volume and tone. All grounded of course.

Holds it's Own

So i walked into guitar center, I was thinking to myself, whats cheap and whats on the "used" section, saw this beauty, immediately took it off the wall and flipped the price tag around. Gasp!, it was only $109, I plugged it in, tuned it up, and it sounded a hell of a lot nicer than any of the newer Gibson SG's in the store. It's an updated version of the basic SG with better pickups and i guess they didnt know it. took it home, changed the tuners, added a bigsby, and some humbucker covers.

Totally worth it, and such a great distinguishing sound.

Bought this after trying out several cheaper bass driver, distortion and overdrive pedals. I knew the bassist of We Were Promised Jetpacks used it, i just couldnt afford it at the time, I tried my luck with a bass Big Muff and immediately returned it. Also walked into a show where a local band Viceroii was tearing up the stage, the bassist was using the 1 button version of the SansAmp and i was so impressed with the sound i bought mine the same week.

The Second of the SX basses, Cheap, Solid, and road ready.

Thanks to the great success of the the SX jaguar bass copy, I decided to buy a P-bass type of bass also on budget and it turned out better than expected as well. Solid maple neck with skunk stripe on the back and Maple fretboard. Good feel and great action after some basic setup. Got mine in cream white, with black pickguard, had it covered in stickers then decided to sand the whole thing down and paint it orange with white pinstripe binding. Recently added some 50's fender p bass pickups just for the hell of it.

All the bass and tone you'll ever need, Cheap, reliable, and durable.

Bought this bass from Rondomusic.com on a budget and hopes that it would be good enough. Sure enough, it was, and still is. A long time friend of mine had a black p-bass type of this same brand and I was shown the website by another friend. 3 years of gigging and the bass really holds up, I've done my own aesthetic work on it just to distinguish it a little more and its definitely up there with Fender for way less than half the price.
