The best little green box that isn't the original little green box...
If you want that little green box sound but don't want to have just another little green box clone....this is the ticket. Sounds fantastic and one of the best kept secrets of Nashville session artists.
Surprisingly diverse
I wasn't sure what to expect since the signature artist isn't really someone known for playing dirty really but this is a lot of fun and sounds great. The ability to change the order of the drive and boost allow for stacking options that take it from fairly high gain to a weird fuzz that's musical and fun.
Can't beat it...
Well, you can beat it...slam it...stomp it and throw it off buildings. It still works and does the job.
Best amp for the money.
These can still be picked up for next to nothing. A 25/50/100 watt head that is fantastic on it's own or a great pedal platform.
Highly underrated
As most Roadstars are, this guitar was greatly undervalued. The electronics can be scrapped and with a little work and electronics of your choice...you have a strat killer. Great playing guitars that will last as long as you want it to. Vintage enough for old guitar lovers but not so sought after that you can't change them to your liking.
