I got my Mustang in January 2024 as an addition to my P and my J bass. I wanted to recreate a classic, mid heavy bass sound, that would fit in a rock / pop context mix but could also possibly fit other scenarios. The Mustang does exactly that, it fits into many contexts of music without much adjustment and EQing needed. Together with a bump in the mids and a small amount of drive, it sounds beautifully clean and somewhat aggressive at the same time.

This bass is a great bass to start out with. The body and neck both are really well made and don't show any blemishes. The only thing that is somewhat disappointing are the tuners. They are very heavy and make the neck dive like crazy without a wide strap. The strings are also only alright at best.
