The iconic upper bout and headstock silhouettes of the Rickenbacker 4001 are the most salient characteristics of the "crested-wave" body shape designed by luthier Roger Rossmeisl for Rickenbacker's model 4000. The 4001 model features a neck-through construction, a full-wood body, fretboard with metal strings (originally flat-wound, though many players replaced them with round-wounds), twin truss rods, triangle inlays, two pickups, two volume and two tone dials, selector switch,[2] and wiring for Rick-O-Sound (standard in models post-1971).

Extremely faithful to the Gibson Thunderbird IV of the early '60s, this bass easily beats any modern Gibson reissue and can truly stand toe-to-toe with the originals in terms of feel and tonal range. Acoustically resonant and as well balanced, with equal parts low end punch and top end grind. Solid mahogany, set neck construction and vintage style three-point bridge with tailpiece. The neck has a medium C profile with a 34" scale length, a nut width that's a full 1 11/16" and nickel tuning machines with clover buttons. The face of the headstock is reminiscent of the classic Gibson shape, with a carved, three-dimensional appearance with the lowest tier matching the color of the body, and the upper tier finished in black with the "Greco" truss rod cover. Individual Volume controls for each pickup and a master Tone. Amber bonnet knobs numbered 1-11. Incredibly faithful pickups to the original Gibson design. Nickel pickup covers, bridge and tailpiece.

The Precision Bass Plus is an electric bass made by Fender Musical Instruments Corporation and designed by George Blanda in 1989. It was one of the first American-made Fender basses to feature a 22-fret neck, requiring the company to slightly oversize the body shape and lengthen the cutaways, which distinctly changed the overall look of the instrument. Other features included a solid alder or ash body, a 1-piece maple neck with rosewood or maple fingerboard, adjustable Lace Sensor Precision and Jazz pickups, Schaller deluxe die-cast tuning machines, 3-ply black, parchment or 4-ply brown tortoise shell pickguard, Schaller Elite fine-tuning bridge, 3-way toggle pickup switch, master volume, series/parallel push-push button for the neck pickup and master TBX tone. Sixty years after its birth, the Tele is still leaving its mark on music history. And here, Fender celebrates everything the Tele was, is, and will be with a slew of incredible 60th Anniversary "Tele-bration" Telecasters.

This particular Tele, the Lamboo Telecaster, is one of these collectible twang maestros. With an eco-friendly nod, Fender equipped this axe with a laminated bamboo top and back over an alder core.
