Only bass overdrive i will ever need
I used many different pedals through years and this is the only one which made me happy...It has this warm organic tube like mid boosted tone which is perfect for what i use it...it can go from a low growl like cliff burton's tone on metallica - master of puppets(listen to his isolated bass track on that song or other songs from that album) all the way up to the fuzzy goodness of a MUSE - starlight...well built, dynamically responsive(more you dig in more it growls), true bypass, great clean blend and just looks great overall(white LED is nice touch to the silver case, very 'rock' looking pedal)

tube screamer clone
there are many ibanez tube screamer clones on the market, and i find this one to be the best...in my ears there is no difference in sound between this one and the ts9...it is a true bypass, that means your clean signal is not affected when the pedal is disengaged, simple controlls like those on the ibanez one makes it easy to use, build quality is decent, its metal..green colour gives it classic tube screamer look...i use it on the bass guitar as a tube overdrive, it has a nice growly tone kinda like cliff burton had on 'master of puppets' album, or if you play with a pick you get that kind of lemmy tone on the song 'i dont believe a word'..the only reason i gave it four stars is that it sucks out the low end..otherwise great

Cheapest bass distortion unit
For the price, it gives more than you can ask for. I use it as a fuzz pedal, even though it says overdrive, this thing can get really harsh fuzzy, great for MUSE type of thing. It's not the best pedal out there, its not true bypass, it has plastic case, but, for the price, you get bass specific pedal(it can hold a low end pretty well), rangeing from a slight grit for punky pick riffs, or a full grain fuzz for violin like sustain, you can also blend in your clean tone if you need it, for a home practice, or for a begginers who want to try effects out, or for us poor players :) i give four stars to behringer products..they give you alot for the price

best practice/studio amp on the market
Orange makes the best bass amps out there. Its their natural, warm, full, punchy sound and its unique tone, it doesn't matter if you play with fingers, pick, effects or clean, it can take all of it. Whatever effect you put on it..it sounds just right, just like that fx was imagined to sound like, as for clean tone, with a fresh set of strings there is no better sound you can get. Orange is known for its leading valve(tube) series, but one should never underrestimate these smaller solid state amps. It is way too loud for the house, it can really shake the floor around it, and its perfect for a small home studio(it is branded as being studio amp, not just practice), you can also use it for a small acoustic gigs or a smaller electric gig with electronic drums. Unlike many sub 50 amps i tried in the store, this was the first one to actually sound like a bass amp, and not like a shallow bucket. Featured with line out, and speaker out, you might actually play a bar gig(with a proper speakers and PA). Two inputs, high(for passive) and low(for active basses), and headphones out. Standard Orange controlls, master volume, gain, and three band eq(treble, middle and bass). 35 watts and a 12 inch speaker.

In the sea of all the different bass guitars today, Precision Bass still holds its own against them all...pure rock bass, with a unique sound..white colour goes just great with maple fingerboard..check it out, you won't be dissapointed
