A nice BOSS Bass Drive Clone

As always Behringer delivers with the clones, its not 100% accurate, but it works. However, the plastic case may not last so much depending in how much you use it. I mean, i dont think youre going to switch between OD and Clean that much... Also i really dislike the Power Socket in the side, its such a pain for pedalboards.

Decent Budget Overdrive/Fuzz/Distortion Option

Cheap but versatile overdrive pedal. I got this pedal several years ago but it still holds up. It has a decent amount of controls for blending clean/boosted signal. It also has a decent variety of tone. You can use it for overdrive, fuzz, or full on distortion. Its great for heavy riffs. If you play punk, hardcore, or heavy metal this is a great budget option. Ive used this pedal to play Motorhead and 80s Metallica songs. Since its a cheaper pedal the shell is plastic, the pedal trigger also feels a little flimsy (and noisy) but ive had no issues with it after 5+ years of use.

Cheapest bass distortion unit

For the price, it gives more than you can ask for. I use it as a fuzz pedal, even though it says overdrive, this thing can get really harsh fuzzy, great for MUSE type of thing. It's not the best pedal out there, its not true bypass, it has plastic case, but, for the price, you get bass specific pedal(it can hold a low end pretty well), rangeing from a slight grit for punky pick riffs, or a full grain fuzz for violin like sustain, you can also blend in your clean tone if you need it, for a home practice, or for a begginers who want to try effects out, or for us poor players :) i give four stars to behringer products..they give you alot for the price

metronohm808

Great features for the dosh.

This pedal really does well to form fuzzy/bright distorted sounds. Behringer's name has been very beaten over time but I think that you cant go wrong and to me, personally, it sounds as good as something that would cost a lot more. I'm also in the progress of circuit bening it as ive found a nice patch that creates a synthy sorta saw wave tone.
