Excellent tones if your patient

It took me 1 year to get the tone I wanted and I had owned this project's predecessors 8 years before finally really using it. It's expensive up front but the upgrades are cheap. I haven't seen any new products in a few years so I may abandoned this product for hardware gear.

Hands down the best DAW I've ever used.

All of my instruments are either programmed or recorded into Logic Pro X. It also accepts my Guitar Rig as a plugin so I can do live playing and automation to my guitars. The synths are great, plugins are easy to install. The only thing that is cumbersome is Windows VSTs and 32-bit VSTs will not import.

Excellent extended range bass for the price!

The GIO series is suppose to be Ibanez's cheap series but I love this bass. Easy to play and sounds great out of the box. Usually I upgrade to active pickups but the non-active eq'd pickups in this bass sound superb!

Excellent guitar for the price

I added an EMG 81X to the bridge and it totally crushes now. I also modified the bridge so I could put both regular tuned strings and extended range string on the guitar. The neck has handled the extra pressure with no issues.

OS X is my main music platform

This Macbook with 16GB with SSD has been a Godsend. Very little latency and full control. I use it as a DAW with Logic Pro X and with NI Guitar Rig for my guitar sounds.

Added plenty of needed crunch to my stock ESP.

I have an ESP EC-50 and this guitar absolutely crushes with this pickup in the bridge position. I may get the 24V battery kit to get even more response out of the pickup.

Excellent mic for the price

I've heard it's a knock off of one of their more expensive models but I enjoy it for home studio recording use. Very useful, some people are annoyed by the switch but it's easy to get use to. Nice and heavy mic.

Excellent power conditioner

Lots of inputs, 1 in the front, I believe 8 total. Easy front access power switch, rack mountable.

Great PA mixer with 2 monitors

No issues, it was on sale at Guitar Center for $150. 2x 10" speaker monitors included. I am using it as a studio monitor. Eventually I will get a stereo EQ and power amp since the mixer is not stereo and just use the PA for vocals.

Great product, great price!

I've reduced my guitar noise about 20% with this device. I use it to convert my 1/4" mono single to XLR on my M-Audio USB Fast Track USB. No complaints.

A good device for the price but now obsolete

Starting in OS X Mavericks support for this device has been dwindling. Several Macs are incompatible and the whole series was sold off to Avid. I recommend buying a new M-Audio device. I'm having to reset it several times a day but I've had it 5 years and have recorded most of my first album with it.

Love my guitar!

The neck make this very playable for an 8 string guitar. I love EMG pickups and the EMG 808s are excellent, I may install the 24V mod kit for better pick up response. The action is perfect out of the box. The neck is painted so the tone is brighter and the neck is a through neck.
