very configurable, simple as far as layout, complex as far as what can be done with it. one small flaw is that the internal power transformer is not soldered well, so i would recommend you pop that puppy open and re-solder
When you need those little extras, finger drumming, more hot cues, more more more!
I have this little guy for getting my serato stuff setup properly. Setting cue points and and tags is one thing, but being able to work out that live mashup or remix from anywhere is important to me. This does the trick for sure. Plus - it has the added benefit of being able to pull this out of a backpack and throw it on a home stereo and bam! house party.
I use this for tracking (I love the preamps in this thing) and for mastering. Its compact, easy to work on, and highly modifyable. if you get one, recap it, clean, and you will have this forever.
this is my go to for drum mic pres. I run it via analog out to a Soundcraft Ghost 24-LE board and it is AWESOME. I like it for Kick and toms.
Vocals sound so warm and amazing through this. If you are recording melodic vocals, this is the thing.
the feel of real vinyl is always nice. This thing is built like a tank and has been reliable for me since day one.
This is what I use with my modded out technics 1200's - love it. love it. love it.
