It's been retired but not for it's failures
32X8. Great desk (16 years ago but still) & I'm still a devoted Soundcraft user. For project studios Soundcraft boards offer a fairly affordable desks that have fantastic EQ's and in general offer a superior brand new desks. There's always the argument for other desks but it's worth mentioning this was (is?) a current brand new desk & upkeep by a 3rd party is virtually nonexistent. Hard to say that about a lot of other desks (tho there will always be exceptions). Mods are also available. I'd feel great recommending this desk to any project studio. Always served me well.

"All I had was the Amiga 1200, the Korg M5 provided loads of sounds for the first album, a huge, 32-channel Soundcraft mixer, my 950 – at some point, that was upgraded to an S3000 – the Alesis compressors, the Zoom, a Line 6 echo-thingy, a Focusrite VoiceMaster Pro and a couple of AKG C1000 mics. That was it!"
