Perfect strings for tremolo guitars. These really live up to their name.
Love these strings and they are on all my guitars with whammys. They really live up to their name...big time. As long as you follow the directions on the packaging, they'll stay in tune! Sound great too.

Perfect for home studio
If you are building a home studio and need a moderately priced board that doesn't take up half the room. This (they have other variants channel-wise) is perfect. If a majority of your effects are inboard or already in the software of your editing system (PC, laptop), this mixer fits the bill perfectly. Clean pots, inputs and outputs. Easily designed for headphone and studio monitor set ups. Works just great for my application.

When my 2 1/2 stacks are just too much
This really is the best sounding modeling amp I have played through. I have tried them all. This amp along with the floor pedal (sold separately), is awesome. Tons of pre sets and ability to customize with ease. If you can program your car radio, you can set this up with as much ease. Lots of effects, amp sounds, and plenty of power for your club gigs where the big amps are too much. I am looking into the tube version and I believe that will be the end of my search for the perfect combo amp. Stay tuned...

Nice instrument and fun to play
I had an original run way back when they first came out. Silly me, traded it away. Now I have another one but this is 2nd or 3rd run and not as nice as the originals. Plays great, typical fast Peavey neck with decent electronics. Tremolo is Floyd Rose licensed and stays in tune. Reverse headstock is a look I have always loved. Great shredder. Haven't seen one go for less than $600 bucks and 1st run Vandys are over a grand.

Decent workhorse for my studio
I really wanted a Peavey bass but this was actually cheaper. I only use it for studio work and it does the job nicely. No frills, low end, dependable bass guitar. Not a full time bass player, so for me this fits the bill.

Great tube pre-amp
I have been using this since they came out. Late 80's maybe? Very easy to use and wide range of options. Little noisy but a gate cures all. Run this with my VTM 120's. Both set at about half gain. All the crunch you need for rhythm and solos. Hard to find now. Old school tube greatness not found in today's modeling electronics. Genuine tube warmth and overdrive

Not like the 1st generation Nitro, but decent shredder
This is the 2nd generation of the Nitro family of guitars. Due to the popularity of the Vandenberg guitar, alot of their shredder guitars got that elongated headstock which is cool. The neck is not the usual Peavey style neck and that is not cool. Seems they were going after that Jackson / Charvell type feel. It's lighter but not for my taste. The Khaler spyder tremolo is a huge improvement though. Nice USA made rocker from the 80's

Nice collectors piece
As a guitar, it's merely ok, as a piece in your collection? Well, that depends on your point of view. For KISS fans...its up there. It plays like a Gibson Flying V copy. Electronics are ok. No frills approach. Neck is a little fat for my taste. But it is great for chunky rhythm. Oh, that's kinda what Paul Stanley is known for...so yeah, I get it.

Real USA 'Slinger
Hard to find these! An original Gunslinger. The new ones are junk from China. But when BC Rich made these in the 80's, there were solid! It has custom paint (obviously the whole solo KISS theme), an original Floyd Rose tremolo, original full shred II pickup with push/pull coil tap. Screaming, sweaty & dripping with sex axe from the forgotten era of shredding. Neck is wide like a Gibson but thin like a Fender.

Nice guitar at a nicer price (than a Fender Tele)
This is the HH, thinline with a F hole style tele. Usual great Peavey neck, Good electronics and this one has a Bigsby style tail piece. Baby blue color ( don't think it's original color) but cool nonetheless. Plays like a charm and wide range of sounds. Classic looks and real playability. Love It!

Rare 80's Gem
Circa 1984...interesting Peavey circuitry. The tone knobs for the 2 pickups are also coil taps. Full at 10 they are split into single coil. Roll it back to 7 and you're in humbucking mode. Tons of tones. Country, blus, jazz and yes metal. After all, it is a metal looking guitar. Just a cool piece of 80's guitar nostalgia. It happens to play great too...,there's those Peavey necks again....

Went looking for an Epiphone Jr....
And I found this right next to it. I played them both...back and forth...really liked the Peavey better and it was new, & about $80 bucks less. Plays similar to a Epi Les Paul Jr but leans more towards its big brother the Gibson Les Paul. I'm not saying it's a LP, I'm saying its a nice replica and plays great. I am happy with my decision over the Epi. Electronics are great, clean and bright. The hardware is solid and stays in tune just fine. Very good guitar.

All metal and less change
I have always wanted an Gibson Explorer. Had a chance at one and it really played clunky. Just wasn't my thing after all. Then I found this thing. Gave it a try and to my surprise! There was that Peavey neck! Something about their design, composition, or construction...I'm not sure but I love 'em. The electronics are very good. I kept the stock pickups and the Floyd Rose tremolo is top notch. Stays in tune better than any whammy system I've tried. Best thing about it? I got an Explorer type guitar, at about half the price. Plays and looks great.

Believe it or not, my favorite guitar....
My 2nd guitar I ever bought. Love the neck, simplicity of the electronics. One pick up (Seymour Duncan full shred I) one knob, with push pull coil tap. Just killer cut through the mix sound. Tapped for rhythm and slap it in humbucking mode for leads that scream. Tremolo system is decent but not up to Floyd Rose specs, certainly serviceable. Easier to change strings than a Floyd. Brand new this was $600 bucks with the hard shell case. Still got it and still my fave

More versatile than the Ibanez or Gibson
Found this on eBay and couldn't believe how it plays and sounds. The mini-humbuckers are the trick to this musical magic. Great value and amazing to play. Plethora of sounds. Great rhythm backing tracks and soulful fat leads.

I own 2 of 'em and will gladly take on your Marshall...
Single channel, window rattling, neighbor calling the police, club owner screaming it's too loud, soundman's nightmare of an amp. More balls than any Marshall I've heard. There are more versatile amps out there, but when you need muscle, do you call the guy who claims to know all the best fight moves or the guy who punches him in the face with one shot? Yeah, fight over. The "M" in the VTM is for modified. The dip switches allow you to make your own mods and shape the size of your audio fist. You'll win the fight with this 120 watt metal head.

Love the sounds from this big black beauty
Still one of my favorite big bodied acoustic guitars. With or with out an amp. Plays great, stays in tune, and the cutaway allows for some creative up and down the neck acoustic fills. The one I own is actually a 140CDSC. This one pictured is the less expensive model but basically the same instrument. Really plays nice. And for around 400-500 bucks new, can't go wrong. Not everyone can afford a Martin. And these look better anyway.

Bought this for the name...Tomb
Very light guitar. Active pickups are something to get used to if you never used them b4. Neck is unlike any Peavey I've played before. That's not to say it's bad, just not what I was used to in the usual Peavey type feel. It's kinda cool. I find I don't play it much anymore, but don't want to part with it either. It is what it is. Active circuits make it a who,e different animal. Weird extra gain and kinda creepy...like a tomb would be

This picture is not what I have (why does equipboard only let you upload 3 pics?) the one I own is a 90's era tele copy. Baby blue, thinline with an F hole. Bigsby copy tail piece and two humbuckers. Really cool ass set up in fact! Neck is all Peavey. Almost all of their USA made necks are fast! The tones are great. Dirty blues, jangly sounding half clean rhythms, straight rock-n-roll. All in one package. One of my better guitars really. And a lot less $$ than a tele from Fender. Think a quality MIM tele. But better...

What can you say? It's a Gibson...and ACE!
You need to be real KISS fan to appreciate this chunk of guitar player history. It's a Les Paul with a punch in the face of Ace. Loud, heavy, expensive and cool as all get out! Chrome back plates and covers, chrome truss rod cover, Ace all over the place. Plays like a Les Paul. Mine was wired funky. The true Ace guitar didn't even include a working neck pickup. Mine was wired wrong but since fixed. Like his, it now is inoperable.
