DJ Turntables
Great little turntables, I bought two for next to nothing and they are plugged into the live inputs of my NI Traktor S4. Most of the time, I don't use them for mixing, just for playing records. The force adjustment is relatively easy to manipulate but I must admit setting them up in the first place was a bit fiddly. It is difficult to know where exactly 2.5g of force is placed on the vinyl record at the tone arm weight can be rotated about 4 times in it's entirety.

Entry Level Turntable
A great entry level turntable for the budding audiophile. Great sound reproduction and well made. However, the manual speed changing from 33rpm to 45rpm will soon get tiring. Rega quote that it is manual to eliminate noise in the audio chain but believe me, it can get extremely frustrating having to remove the platter to change the belt sprocket. I found also that the belt quickly stretched and became loose, resulting in slipping and speed inconsistency. I would recommend the 24V motor upgrade and PSU, that means you don't have to manually change the belt, but at AUD$600, it's about the same price as the turntable was originally.

Korean Built Marlin Sidewinder - Budget Worldbeater -'86-'88
Extremely dense, heavy, laminated, plywood bodied guitar that has great sustain but still retains a chimey character. Five position pick-up switch that allows selection of neck, neck and middle, middle, middle and humbucker and humbucker alone. Also a switch to split the humbucker making a vast array of tones available. Purchased metallic pastel pink in 1987 and always pick it up once in a while. Quite a low action on a maple neck with a rosewood fretboard.
