Gear 4

Compares to an epiphone. Even though there are better Epiphones, the good ones are more expensive. At this price range, this one is winning.
Louder than drums, cool sounds and effects
Makes gigging so easy, and I have practically all the effects one would ever need. But I would sell it and buy the footswitch for my boss katana, or some pedals, they sound better.
It sounds nice, and has a cool variety of tones to it with the 5 way pick up selector. The neck is very smooth and the access to higher frets is easy. I saw some small dents close to the frets, probably they were not careful enough when doing the fret trimming at the edges of the neck. But in no way it makes a difference on the looks, feels or sound, I'm just being a perfectionist. It is not a perfect guitar, as it is made in indonesia and it is not one of the most expensive series on the ibanez catalogue. Other thing i have noticed is that when a humbucker is selected, it is louder than the ''single coil''. I've never owned a HSS so I do not know if it is a flaw or a normal characteristic between single and humbucker pickups. Anyway, I am happier than ever, its a gourgeous guitar!
