Favorite starter-synth
It's just so easy to start synthesis on this thing. It's the best option for anyone trying to get into analog synths. You can make a great deal of sounds with this machine, but it's also easy to program. The effects are medium-good, but I end up using them from time to time eventhough I have guitar pedals and better-sounding VST plugins. The filter on the XD is way better than the original by the way. I used to have the original, but it's thin-sounding compared to the XD. Still a great machine, but lacks weight.

Best sounding monitors I've heard
Title says all. I have heard many speakers over 12 years of producing in various studio's, but I can't get over the sound of these. Maybe I'm biased, but they even sound better than the 407s from Eve themselves in my opinion. Just nice, warm, happy sound. It may not be 100% flat, but it's so so easy to mix on these. Everything sounds balanced and good and the dynamics are unparalleled.
