Robert Poss
Robert Poss' Amplifiers
I like the ProCo Rat and the Ibanez Tube Screamer, Marshall and Park tube amplifiers run clean with lots of headroom. But I like and use small combo amps by Fender, Frenzel, Decware, ZT Amplifiers, VaIvetech.
Robert uses a Marshall JCM 900 amp head, as shown in this Guitar Geek rig diagram.
Robert uses a Laney GS412LA according to this diagram.
According to this Diagram from Guitar Geek Robert Poss uses this amp.
The 1979/1980 Parks are great amps. I've owned and used several 100-watt models. (I'm down to one head and one combo at this point. When I bought them in the mid-1980s they were LESS expensive than Marshall heads. Very similar to the equivalent Marshall. There may be some subtle differences, but I never bothered to research the esoterica in that regard. I had some of mine re-worked by Andrew Barta (who invented the Sansamp). if you want to hear what these amps can sound like, go to http://myspace.com/bandofsusans.
