My most recent purchase. Although the description is the same mine is a high gloss dark Engelmann spruce top. The action is amazing making it so much easier to fret than any other guitar I own.
It's a real change up from my wooden guitars. I love the bluesy sound.
The downside is that it is really heavy....about 13 pounds or so.
It's is priced right for a first guitar and well constructed for an inexpensive starter providing great sound...until you play a higher end guitar. Much better than investing heavily in a hobby you may or may not pursue.
I bought it from a seller on Reverb. A little more damaged than described although it is playable as stated. It's a really cool looking 125th anniversary reproduction parlor guitar. The sound is very tinny and i suppose that is to be expected.
It features and unusual V shaped neck that I find uncomfortable to play.
