Love it!

I love the Twin Reverb Sneaky Amp or the Fender Pro Reverb with a little grit the best.

I A/B'd my Katana (on 100w setting) and a Strymon Flint spring reverb with my buddies real '78 Twin and we both agreed that they sounded quite similar!

Preferred Settings + Usage:

Behringer Ultra Vibrato UV300 (with Slow Rate mod)

I have this pedal with the slow rate modification toggle and that's why I give it five stars! The mod is definitely necessary as the stock is just not slow enough. I can achieve a Magnatone vibrato (mod off) as well as some wicked violent whammy bar sounds. With the mod on a can get beautiful subtle whammy bar dips. I LOVE the untatched mode to bring the effect in and out as needed. Very cool pedal!

Small but mighty!

I LOVE this little powerhouse! The cleans are classic Roland tone and the delay and reverb are superb. The chorus is a great too but you cannot adjust the amount as it is an on off switch and it a bit too much for my taste. The variety of settings are all very nice and the bass response it amazing. Whether you plug in an MP3 player/phone/audio device or an electric bass, you still get the low end! Amazing volume output too. I also figured out that you can actually use the headphone out as an auxiliary out to a soundcard for recording. Overall this is a killer little practice amp/speaker.

1981 Monterey 12 String (Made in Korea)

This is a fantastic 12 string that I found in a local music shop. I can't find ANY information on it other than the name "Monterey", serial #285, stamped 1981.12.29, and that it was made in Korea. That is all. The thing is a beast AND stays in tune quite well. I have to keep in in open D though because behind the bride it is bubbling up pretty good. I have this mounted on my Tele and I could not be happier! I love going in and out of standard tuning into open G or D or Double Dropped D. With the flip of some levers I can do it in seconds and flip right back AND stay in tune!!! If you're into open/alternate tunings look no further!

Can't tell it from a Martin on recordings....
