Classic

Mines the all tube first generarion gm751. Warm, gentle and silky soundig combo organ. Nott nearly as agressive as any farfisa, vox etc. If theres any stax records cover band reading this, i would recommend it over any other combo organ. Its a super cool piece of fur iture too :)

Very cool and smooth

Very nice sounding pre. Ive got mine recently, and worked with one a couple of times before. It has a fixed gain of -34db, signal is quiet, but enough for most mics. It needs an extra circuit for phantom and all the regular switches and xlr IO. I understand that it could be modified to be a v77, with -56db, but im not sure if it changes the way it sounds. Mines stock. Up to now ive use it with a tlm102, and it sounds very silky with flutes. It has some really cool vintage classical music vibes. Di bass with this is very impressive, the best ive ever heard. Very punchy, nice round attack. Mpc drum machines sound very smooth through this!

Great, almost a classic, buy a used one

Once again, Fender selling the same thing over and over again, its brilliant in a marketing perspective. This is considered a modern classic, and if you look at every 'new' model out there, the difference its in the average quality control every one of them have. This is marketed as an identical reproduction of a vintage instrument, which is not completely true, but its a very fine made guitar. Ive tried many guitars, and mine´s pretty good. Heres my piece of advise: i would never recomend anybody to buy a custom shop guitar, instead, if you like these particular model or anything in this league, go for a japanese 50's style fender- Its very likely for you to find the same quality for less money, and if you do, you can fix the un-ageable thick plastic poly inish and let your instrument to grow old with style, which is also the problem on these avri 57's. Always buy used, they will sound better.

An amazing instrument, kicks ass in every way

Ive got this following my gut on ebay. It has a mahogany neck, indian rosewood back and sides and cedar top. Pretty amazing woods for a 'cheap' korean made instrument. Almost the same as Martin 00-21, like the ones used by Keith Richards and Juana Molina. The craftsmanship is perfect. It has a lot of crazy harmonics, very big and rich sound for such a small body. Ive tried many vintage and modern acoustics, and up to now, no one beats this. Even vintage Martins and Washburns that costs 20 times this price.

Super cool and impressive

I got this because it was supposed to be a clone of the mutron phasor ii and the schulte at the same time. The interface its almost the same as the latter. In terms of sound this thing is insane, even when bypassed. Some kind of preamp must be on the circuit. Modulation can be very subtle or huge, theres so maby possibilities. Its complex to replicate settings, like many analog stuff, it never sounds exactly the same. Ive used it on guitar and synths and always someone asks about it. Maybe the best overall pedal i have.

The swiss army knife of synthesizers

Pros - Almost any synth sound can be emulated with these thing, especially monophonic - Easy to use, super flexible for programming, it can be patched - Extremely lightweight, portable, gig friendly - Bonus: great vocoder, can be used as a midi controller

Cons - The keys feel terrible. This is the biggest 'con' of the Microkorg. Compared to other minikey instruments ive played (like the casio cz101), these are really bad. So bad that its difficult to play with it. - The sound is good, but always a little lacking. Through a good preamp the digital truth is revealed. Reamping can help. - Needs a lot of work on programming to create good sounds, 95% of the factory presets are ugly

Ive been playing mine for 12 years now, and i still like it. Its an essential part of my bands live sound and ive used it on most of my recordings. I consider it a friend :)

Useful but not a dream

A synth that emulates an electric piano. Great keyboard quality, feels like a real piano. The sounds are ok, but not great. Heavy as hell, its like a coffin. The handlers dont help. Not recomended for live shows for that same reason, a real danger for feets and lower backs!

Sounds better than most of the 2 channel soundcards, but they dont make the drivers anymore

Very well made, nice parts, and really good sound quality. They dont make the drivers anymore to make you buy a new piece of gear that sounds worse for twice this price. It has 2 line/mic imputs, midi in and out, and a switchable stereo aux in (can be line or rca, for turntables, its has phono preamp, yes!), 6 outs for monitoring, word clock in and out. Theres a lot of stuff in this box, and it can record up to 92khz. Considering it was designed in 2005, it still beats the shit up most of the soundcards in the market.

My favourite bass

Very thumpy. I prefer the tone of hollow basses, like hofner or vox. A german hofner cost 3 times the price of this one, but mines 50+ years old, and maybe the aging makes it sound better. It has a slightly fatter tone than a hofner violin, maybe beacause it has a bigger body.

Absolutely amazing

I love this amp. When ive started looking for a nice amp ive checked pros and cons of every 20 watt or less amp in the market. It took me 4 years to finally get it. The tone is amazing, sounds like an old fender tweed but with a personal twist. The reverb is huge. The tremolo is ultra creamy, never heard a tremolo like this.
