I have one somewhere that's handy with 2 of my rackmount synths and with the poly800. Good with fruityloops too when the mouse is too jittery for fancy filter tweaks in real time.

Love the update
With permanent nerve damage in both hands, no more guitar and bass playing. Live 9 gives me the opportunity to use samples instead. Very intuitive and mapping grooves is cool. Plus, able ton gives you lots of free stuff like Max!

Upgraded from Windows and will never go back!
Sorry, Windows, but no longer will I impede my creativity with driver issues, uninstall/reinstall, and generally being fearful of any software update!

Perfect for upbeat dance music. Very versatile. Layered sounds are BIG!
Used this for about 20 years. I love the versatility and layering. If possible, get the Dance expansion.

aww man, that's a 2 sentence review that says it all. The JD800 is a fun synth from an era of boring crap.

So sweet and bright and just fun! At 60 I am getting back into music. Lots of rust but am so exited! Love your baby.
